I Hit The Big 5 ohhhhhhhhh nooooooooooo

Well it seems strange coming back here after Facebook. I have to tell all those who did not make it to my surprise, second , and definitely more INTERESTING,birthday party, you missed a great time. Have to say the bbq Mandy and Ivy put on the night of my actual birthday was a blast. It was great have my new friends,my old friends, relatives and the "monkeys" share my day. The food was great and getting to play the guitars was cool.BUT...Saturday at Wendys was kind of the adult version, and at that I think a couple of the female adults would have passed on seeing me get a lap dance. After more than a couple of brewski's I had the pleasure of being accosted by a cute little police officer. Got to admit there were some at the party, me included, that this was a first.Even the neighbors were stretching their necks to get a look.Mandy shot a couple of video's I expect will show up somewhere, and Ivy took some interesting pictures.Enjoy the pic's

Finally !!!

Well well my happy little bloggers, I finally figured out HOW to get back to this freaking thing. I must say that I was not trying TOOOO hard as I got caught up in the FACEBOOK thing. It is alot better than here as you can follow threads forever. You find people who you know who know other people and so on. I didn't realize that facebook uses your address book to make contact with new FRIENDS. That is how I ran across Tyler. Very nice of him to say hello. I have added a new toy to my collection, a Honda Goldwing. I must say it is a far cry better than anything I have ridden yet. I guess you all know Wayne and Theresa are also proud owners of a bouncing baby Goldwing . We went to Port Dover for a ride today and stopped at Bob and Annettes, the Indian was there but not the chief, hmmm, wonder if he got himself another bike. I know it's been almost a month since my last blog but not too much is happening in the hood. You all should get on the facebook and see for your selves just what it is all about. I know some people say it is mainly young adults but I have found there to be many ages on there. Guess that's about it for today. For all those bloggers that don't allow the link from the comments, would you please email me your blogger address. dennisleblanc2002@yahoo.ca

They Made Me Do IT

Well I finally had to switch to the NEW Blogger or it would not let me sign in or comment on other blogs, man do I hate CHANGE. It's been a while since I blogged but I have been having a bitch of a time getting into blogger and usually quit just shy of drop kicking the computer. We were in Florida for almost four weeks and the weather was perfect. There were six of us which made for an interesting time. We visited different venues but refused to get caught up in the disney stuff. Just a note to all that visit, I have changed computers and lost most of your blogger address's. I would appreciate if you leave the link open so I can add you to my favorites. Thanks and a Happy Easter to all.

Florida

Well...where to start, hmm. We have been in Florida since Feb.25th and the weather has been terrific. The temps have been in the mid 80's and we are all tanned nicely. We stayed at one resort the first week and went to another for the second week. We are now back at the first resort but in a nicer unit. It's hard to believe that three weeks is almost up. No one here is looking forward to heading north on Sunday. I have a bunch of pictures but will post them when I get home as I only have dial up here and it really does suck. It is only slightly better than no service. Sure miss the grand kids tho. I forgot how to access blogger and had to change my password, hence the reason I have been sign in anonymously, oh well all fixed now. More to come when I get back.

Winter Wonderland

Well here we are half way thru February and mother nature strikes. I have to admit it was pretty neat having Valentines Day declared a "snow day". The monkey's get the day off althought Mandy was not as lucky. She had to dig her way to her car and then had the old coot across the street help her get out of her parking spot. Ivy and I sprung the "mushrooms" from next door. As you can see from the pictures, they enjoyed the snow and the day off from school.

End Of January Post

I thought it was time to do an update. Poor Mike has been holding the fort with some input from Muskoka Gowers. First off , I want to wish Mandy a great big Happy 29th, the ONLY time she can say it for real. Congratulations to Emily who graduated to Orange belt. Mandy will expand on that in her blog I'm sure. Things at work have eased off so I can go back to living the life of the "retarded, I mean retired" although there are one or two who will agree with the latter but W.G.A.F...should get that on my license plate. Well...for those interested here is a quick synopsis of what is happening in" day Hood". Ivy and I had to get our passports re-newed and let me tell you what a joke. I tricked her into getting her picture taken at the Automobile club after we walked up on the premise of just getting information. She was not too pleased with the picture but like I said it was one less thing to worry about. Not only that, but it saved us a trip up town as they have the applications there. I then took mine to my eye Dr. and she took hers to her Dentist, BUT, because she lost hers a couple years ago in Florida we had to go to Family court to get an affidavit as to what she said happened to her old passport. Going into that horrid place brought back terrible memories, Family court I mean...and I'm sure others feel the same way, lmao. Almost as much searching going in there as getting on a plane. Anyway ... after we got everything together we head up to Jackson Square. They have moved the passport office down to the second floor where we encountered about three hundred other people looking to do the same thing as we were hoping to do. Mandy had mentioned a post office out in Ancaster that are allowed to accept "straight forward" applications only, and for a $15 extra fee. I let Ivy go first and as soon as buddy spotted her affidavit he put the brakes on. Said she would have to take it DOWNTOWN, so all that for nothing. He accepted mine, along with my old passport and my birth certificate, which is one less piece of I.D I will have when we go down south as they are telling me that the applications from start to finish will take about forty days , twice the amount of time due to back logs. Enough of that...Ivy and I along with mom and Norm attended C.K.O.C's 85th birthday celebration at Chandelier PLace in Stoney Creek. We have attended for the last few years and it is pretty good time. For $25 a head you get night of entertainment and some cold cut sandwiches, coffee, and last night cake and ice cream bars. The band was Polly and The Greaseballs, not the greatest name but man can they rock. The singers are really good but the band backing them up are SUPER. I have been to a few functions where this band has played and they are good. There was also an Elvis impersonator there. We saw him at an Elvis thing in Welland a couple of years ago. None of the impersonators have come close to the one I saw in Hagersville. He was part of a show that the Lacross association held on the reserve. And the next best was a guy we saw in Vegas. Looks like I have run out of stuff to gab about. See you around mid Feb.
